UPDATE2: This big update will be finally ready tomorrow. It will include some critical improvements for Android external keyboards and other input devices (gamepads, mouse etc.). This update will also include improved mouse handling (for Android 8.0+) bringing the best experience for FPP/TPP...
Hi All,
Today we have lost half a day scratching our heads and wondering why an external Bluetooth keyboard is not working with AltGr key during connection.
Well if you have a similar problem and your keyboard has the FN key and some other key (like Ins - Insert) check if you have a text...
Hi Jastanich,
Please unclick the webcam icon at the bottom of the interface.
As you can see I have my webcam disconnected so the icon is grayed out. Yours is probably enabled. You must have pressed it by accident or something.
You can always click Ctrl+F12 to disable/enable remote webcam...
UPDATE: After finding a critical bug in the Android app (non-analog gamepad buttons stop working after showing system keyboard) we had to delay this release until tomorrow. After this fix a setup of 4x gamepads + 1 hardware mouse + 1 hardware keyboard (6x Bluetooth devices connected to the same...
Hi Everyone,
Tomorrow we will release a small update but with important fixes:
- 4 remote controllers (PS, Xbox etc.) at a time will be supported instead of 1 (like it is now)
- Fixed remote controller GUIDE button (PS, Xbox buttons) not working on Android
- Stability improvements
I think our Game Virtualization Technology will give much better results soon. This technology will allow connecting and controlling any game remotely and use the same PC by another person at the same time.
1s in the same network? That's hard to imagine even with SW video decoding. Can you let me know what Intel GPU is in the old laptop?
1s lag could happen when connecting using Connect Anywhere via Singapore or Sydney...
We have just done some tests:
1. Connect from one PC running some old GTX to a PC with AMD RX5700 using P2P.
2. First test was to connect to VM on the PC with RX5700 the lag is minimal but the video is not smooth ;/ It looks around 30-40fps (similar effect is visible without connection just...
(y) Sometimes using the P2P inbound/outbound ports in Remotly Settings on PC will help. But I also had to set some things on the router to make it work for me.
BTW, You can also set the outbound port on the Remotly for Android app, also in the Settings (I'm using this option from my home to...
You should not never see this icon (marked with the red arrow) during P2P connections. When this icon is visible it means that cloud streaming is used.
YES!!! Please disable it! This will use the cloud server for connection (probably the one in Amsterdam which is closest to you as the one in Paris is not running yet).
Please check the screen below with description what to do to force P2P:
Make sure to set "Force Connect Anywhere" to "no"...
1. Like connecting to a physical AMD PC with a physical NVIDIA PC ? I will edit the results a bit later ...
> Yes, exactly. To have the same test but eliminate the VM from the equation
2. Yes, the Hyper-V display adapter is enabled but display "unknown" where the refresh rate should be (in the...
Hi Clement,
At least a small progress is done. I need some more info about your setup and would ask for another test:
1. Can you run the same test but not between VM but the physical PC (with the same AMD) and connect Nvidia HOST to it? We need to make sure the problem is related with the VM...
Hi Clement
We have successfully run an AMD RX5700 on the Hyper-V. It works and HEVC is streamed using GPU acceleration in Remotly on the VM.
It looks like recent Intel GPUs work and AMD RX5xxx (and newer) too.
We have just uploaded a new update that includes important improvements for Hyper-V VMs, multi-account systems as well as some other improvements and fixes (special thanks to user ClémentRED who spent his time during the weekend on helping us with Hyper-V issues):
- Temporary workaround for...
