Is there a way to turn off the auto-disconnect?

I searched for relevant topics and found no mention of this, but it seems that Remotly auto-disconnects after a given period of time without activity. I haven't figured out what that time is, or if there is any setting related to it (couldn't find it if so), but I'd greatly love to be able to have it on as long as I want, even if I'm not actively doing anything. I understand that some people might want it to auto shut off for bandwidth reasons and the like, but I don't have any concerns along those lines, and I would like my connection to remain as long as I choose.

Is there somewhere this is controlled that I'm just not seeing? Is there a specific time-frame where it shuts off, or am I just supremely unlucky that it has randomly disconnected due to some other reason? I'm assuming after the initial verification it doesn't put any added stress on your servers, but maybe I'm wrong?

If there is a built-in timer, could we possibly have the ability to turn it off? Like I said, I don't need it to disconnect, so it is kind of irksome when it keeps doing it.

Hi Harbinger,

Sorry for the late response.

You are correct, there is a "call for action" after one hour of connection when there is no input from the connected user(s).

The reason for is not only to offload servers (like Netflix does). The other reason is that some Remotly commercial customers want to make sure that a person/employee who is monitoring something is not sleeping :)

We want to add an option to disable this "call for action". It will be available for account administrator(s) and will only work for P2P and custom relay servers as we cannot allow hogging our servers by inactive connections.
