We are happy to announce that this week we are going to add 4:4:4 HEVC format streaming (including HDR) for the ultimate pixel perfect experience!
Please note that 4:4:4 HEVC may not work on older GPUs and some of the recent GPUs too.
For hybrid setups like Intel Xe + Nvidia dGPU it will be possible to use Intel iGPU for 4:4:4 processing of video coming from the Nvidia GPU (if the Nvidia dGPU does not support 4:4:4 format). This might be useful on some low/mid range laptops.
