Sorry for recent frequent updates but we are fixing some issues reported by Remotly users in real-time mode.
Changelog for v1.17.5:
- Fixed problems with multiple network adapters when one adapter loses connection to WAN (auto switch to other network adapter)
- Fixed problems with changing video size/frame rate during connection
- Increased QoS bandwidth to 100Mbps (was 40Mbps for P2P)
- Fixed problem with some multi-GPU setups (dual AMD problem when switching users accounts during remote connection etc.)
- Other stability fixes
As of this version the default connection video size is 1080p. To stream in 1440p or 2160p you must select it manually.
When connecting to lower resolution than 1080p the original video size will be used (for example 720p).
Streamed video is never upscaled to reduce power usage.
In the next v1.18.0 update we are going to add TLS over AES256 layer. This is should fix problems with some aggressive hardware firewalls that prevent Connect Anywhere connections on all ports.
