Sorry for being so quiet for the past 21 days but the whole team was working 24/7 on version 1.19.0 which brings Remotly PC 1.x very close to production quality.
We would like to thank @hhspiny for his help and reports about bugs that sometime were hard to reproduce but were finally found and fixed.
Please find the list of changes and fixes in v1.19.0 below:
- Fixed random crashes after GPU memory leaks (when running in non-admin mode)
- Fixed HDR support in non-admin mode
- Huge performance improvements and GPU power usage savings
- Adaptive frame buffer resize to minimize Windows internal scaling of any resolution to display's native resolution (for example when desktop native resolution is 4K and the desktop resolution is set to 1080p - normally the operating system always upscales 1080p to 4K and thus impacts GPU load).
- Fixed IBeam (in text editors) cursor not showing in HDR mode
- Improvements for multi-monitor setups
- Fixed input lagging in game mode when running Remotly in non-admin mode
- Fixes in remote display resolution changing
- UI fixes and improvements
- Countless other fixes and improvements
