A new version of Remotly PC Host/Client will be available tomorrow. It will include automatic port forwarding using UPnP gateway protocol.
This should help users who have problems with port forwarding configuration.
This new improvement is fully automatic and adds/removes forwarded ports only when needed, thus removing any potential security problems that are related with UPnP itself.
Please check how the new P2P port forwarding configuration will look like:
Please note that the pool of ports for inbound and outbound connections in the local network is 200. This is only used when there are many hosts in the same network you'd want to connect remotely at the same time. For one specific PC host the maximum number of ports used is 12 (4 inbound for up to 4 users connecting using P2P with Multi-Join and 8 ports used for a maximum of 8 concurrent outbound connections - clients).
