We have just uploaded the latest version of Remotly PC (server). This update is HUGE. We have done our best to make it as good as possible but if you find any problems please let us know ASAP.
List of most important changes in this big update:
- Critical fix for AMD GPUs (fixes freezing and stuttering).
- HEVC encoding is now the preferred option (if it is supported by the GPU, AV1 will be added soon).
- 2x less lag for desktop capture !!! We have found a serious bug in Remotly's low level video capture engine. This has been fixed and from v1.11 there will be true zero latency for P2P connections and near zero lag for Connect Anywhere connections
- Copy/paste (CTRL+C/CTRL+V) for transferring files between connected PCs (full duplex).
- Remote reboot! Finally this will be possible and power loss or remote restart will now longer be a problem.
- Switching between user accounts during connection.
- Drawing panel. Allows drawing, highlighting, adding texts and annotations during connection.
- Remote version update (installing new version over old during remote connection).
- The portable version is now a true portable (removes all Remotly temporary files after closing).
