Local Connections, lag and screen problems

Local connections lagging all the time
also screen goes funny dunno how to explain next i t happens ill get a photo

Can you check if this ever happens without administrator rights? You need to close Remotly and start Remotly.exe from the installation folder.

Usually this kind of problems are related with low level high performance screen capture. When running without this you will still get good performance and will be able to check if this problem persists.

Can you let me know what GPU are you using and what Windows version (extact like Windows 11 24H2).

With or without admin privs, connection pc is 1080ti, host pc is office pc without dedicated gpu intel i5 th gen

The problem must be on the host side. Can you please let us know if you see any hardware acceleration on the host pc in Settings->Video. You can also reduce the frame rate for connections to this specific computer so that if, for some reason, there is no hardware acceleration it will dramatically reduce CPU usage (you can check current setting used for connection on the client side).

Finally you can force compatibility mode either on host pc (Settings->General) or on client side in connections settings for this specific host pc.
