Hello everyone,
I'm writing to request a feature that would be a game-changer for me and, I believe, for many others who provide regular tech support to family and friends.
Currently, I use Remotly to assist my family with their computer issues. While the service is great, the process of getting a new, randomly generated password every time can be a hassle, especially when my family members aren't very tech-savvy.
What I'm proposing is a feature for unattended access with a permanent password, similar to what TeamViewer offers. This would work in two key ways:
I believe this feature would make Remotly a much more secure and practical solution for anyone who manages a small number of personal devices or helps out a few people regularly.
Thank you for your consideration.
Best regards

What I'm proposing is a feature for unattended access with a permanent password, similar to what TeamViewer offers. This would work in two key ways:
- Device-Specific Authentication: I could install the Remotly client on my family's computers and set a unique, permanent password for each machine. This password would not change.
- Centralized Control with a Security Layer: From my Remotly dashboard, I could see a list of these authenticated devices. When I click to connect, the system would prompt me for that specific machine's permanent password. This prevents anyone with access to my account from simply connecting to any of my family's devices without that secondary layer of security.
I believe this feature would make Remotly a much more secure and practical solution for anyone who manages a small number of personal devices or helps out a few people regularly.
Thank you for your consideration.
