We are releasing one more big update to address user requests. This update also adds some fixes and improvements for Remotly PC client app.
Please read below changes that have been introduced in this new update:
1. Possibility to completely turn off automatic game mode using Settings->Client:
Please use the "Auto Game Mode" option to turn on/off automatic game mode switching in Remotly PC client.
By default this option is enabled but is discarded for all connections to Remotly QuickSupport and Remotly QuickHost tools.
Please note that disabling "Auto Game Mode" make mouse cursor always visible in Desktop Mode (even when some application like video player or word editor hides it).
When "Auto Game Mode" is disabled please use the "Game Mode" button in Remotly Client window after connection to switch the Game Mode manually on and off.
2. Disable P2P for all connections to Remotly QuickHost and Remotly QuickSupport.
You can disable P2P connections (even then when connecting client has it enabled) using your Remotly admin panel (Branding tab):
This is especially useful when connecting to Remotly QuickSupport which is running in an unknown network which may not handle P2P (UDP) traffic properly.
Please note that changing this option applies to ALL users from your organization. This option overrides settings set by each member.
We recommend setting your own relay (Connect Anywhere) server.
