Hi hhspiny,
We have finally prepared a pre-release 1.15.0 version for PC:
https://downloads.mirillis.com/files/beta/remotly_pc_1_15_0_setup.exe
There are a lot of changes (most of them address issues and problems reported by you last week):
1. Fixes for booter (session switching etc.)
2. After installing Remotly on the admin account and enabling "start with pc/system" you can now enter a normal user account and after starting Remotly.exe from the admin installation folder you will be able to access UAC popups and logon/lock screen remotely. CTRL + ALT + DEL also works but it is blocked in the client window menu so it is impossible to call CTRL + ALT+ DEL from PC client (works from mobile/Android client). This will be fixed in the final v1.15.0 installer.
3. Sending files works in normal account but only using the context "Send to" sub menu. Drag and drop does not work and after trying to drag and drop a file on a normal account/non-admin remote machine it will block sending files even using "Send to" context menu (bug that needs fixing).
4. Ultra fast network jitter recovery for P2P (for all GPU vendors Intel/AMD/Nvidia). The "P2P with error resilience" option has no effect as of this version and is always ON.
5. Device authorization possible in logon screens even if there is no user signed in. When booter is running and the authorization popup shows you will have 30 seconds to allow connection (and additionally add the device to trusted list). After 30 seconds another popup is shown, the machine is again ready for connection and you can connect with another device that is already trusted to add the previous unauthorized device to the authorized list.
We recommend to install the mobile Android app on your phone and make sure this device is added to the trusted list on all your remote machines. This way you can use this mobile device to grant other devices remote access (either once or add to trusted list).
In version 1.16.0 we will add hardware TPM 2.0 support for RSA4096. Since the private RSA key in TPM 2.0 is not readable it will make the asymmetric encryption part unbreakable.
A lot has changed. We hope only for the better.
Looking forward to hearing from you in case of any problems or suggestions.
