No video encoding HW acceleration on RTX 5090

Hey,

Several versions ago all HW encoding options disappeared from the Options page. The field is grey and doesn't allow to select anything.
Unfortunately, I can't name the last working Remotly version. This happened a couple months ago. I'm also not sure whether it stopped working after upgrading Remotly or after upgrading the video driver.
Also, despite that 1.34.1 Release Notes says that Nvidia HW enc should work now on 5xxx even for 4:4:4/HDR10/etc., upgrading to the latest version didn't change anything.

PC info:
Windows 11 26120.5770
Remotly 1.34.1 (Home Ultimate)
ASUS 5090 Astral, driver version 581.15
4k monitor with 144 Hz and HDR

I also tried manually enabling HW encoding via regedit, but this gave nothing.

Note that the client PC supports HW decoding and it's enabled. The problem is present only on the host with RTX 5090.

Is the key. Please go back to 577.00.
Nvidia drivers from 580.xx are a total mess!

Maybe they are so confident in AI superiority that they have switched from humans to AI. And here are the results. You can read more about these problems on the official Nvidia forum.

I'll try and let you know. I was suspecting this is related to the driver, not Remotly.

I confirm that after rolling back to 577, Nvidia hwenc is available and works.

Why do they keep breaking things...

This year is a disaster. Things that used to work for 10 years are not working anymore. And the worst part is these are not errors on our side which we could fix asap.
