Hi Everyone,
We have just release a new update that adds remote connection in native 5K and 6K resolution.
This feature is available for Home Ultimate and Commercial Ultimate/Enterprise plans (in P2P mode).
Please note that the following requirements must be met to allow such connections:
- Host side must support above 4K video encoding
- Client side must support above 4K video decoding (minimum 512MB VRAM is mandatory for SDR and 1GB VRAM is mandatory for HDR and 4:4:4 video formats)
- The PC client must set "Original" video size in connection settings for the 5K/6K remote host
Other changes in this update include:
- Improved video quality with less stuttering in above 60fps modes (120/144/240)
- Added dynamic wallpaper hiding when connecting in compatibility mode. This further minimizes bitrate and CPU load when connecting in pure software mode compatibility mode.
- Fixed problems with dynamic disabling/enabling "show window content while dragging windows" and "disable window maximize/minimize animations"
- Fixed problems with Remotly QuickHost installer
- Fixed remote control loss in Remotly QuickHost in some rare situations
