We are proud to announce that a big update is coming next week. It will include the following improvements:
PC version:
- 2x less lag !!! We have found a serious bug in Remotly's low level video capture engine. This has been fixed and from v1.11 there will be true zero latency for P2P connections and near zero lag for Connect Anywhere connections
- Copy/paste for transferring files between connected PCs (full duplex)
- Remote reboot! Finally this will be possible and power loss or remote restart will now longer be a problem
- Switching between user accounts during connection. Yes, this also will be possible!
- Drawing panel and mouse trail. This will allow drawing, highlighting, adding texts and annotations on the remote machine. The mouse trail feature is useful when the connected person is not allowed to control the PC but can highlight something to explain problems.
Android version:
- More advanced Connect Anywhere server selection (this will eliminate situations when a wrong server was selected and the lag was bigger than it should be)
- Stability improvements (crashes fixed after analyzing reports sent by users)
