We are pleased to announce that a big update for Remotly PC/Android is ready.
In this update we are introducing Adaptive Frame Rate (AFR) support that significantly reduces GPU usage on encode and decode side.
This advanced algorithm works both for software and hardware accelerated encode in AVC/HEVC and soon in AV1.
This also improves performance when streaming from a GPU that is highly loaded by 3D operations.
For the Android version the biggest change is the fix for glitches happening randomly both in P2P and Connect Anywhere mode.
The Android Google Play update will be available soon and in the meanwhile you can also download the APK from Remotly download section:

Next week we are hoping to close v1.x of Remotly for PC and Android with one more update that will include:
1. Improved Relay server selection depending on geographical location of both peers
2. On-screen game layout sharing to other users (Android)
3. Visualization of analog joystick movement and possibility to add two analog joysticks to the on-screen layout (Android)
4. Auto reconnect for Android on signal/network change
