A new version is now available and includes important improvements, fixes and features:
- Added 4:4:4 HEVC decoding for Nvidia (client side)
- Fixed problems with multi-GPU and multi-display setups (no signal/black screen)
- 240fps support
- UI improvements
- Stability improvements
We have found a serious problem with HEVC encoding on Intel GPUs (Intel Xe, Xe Plus, Xe MAX (DG1), UHD 7xx). After 15 connections the encoder stops working. We have implemented a workaround for this by restarting Remotly when this happens. This problem does not occur with H264/AVC and Intel HD Graphics, UHD 6xx and older iGPUs. It also does not happen on new Intel ARC GPUs (DG2).
We will inform when this problem is permanently fixed.
