Hi Larkony!
Are you running Remotly with admin rights (either installed with admin rights or portable version run with admin rights)? Without admin rights it will not be possible to send input/control to UAC elevated processes.
We highly recommend installing Remotly with admin rights. This...
The camera streaming option is just a proof of concept and can be used for monitoring purposes. It will be transformed into a fully functional video conferencing add-on soon.
Ok I know what it is! Please turn off the camera streaming option. It looks like some kind of virtual camera device. When camera streaming mode is enabled remote control is not possible except for the default Ctrl+F12 combo that will remotely turn off the camera. Please disable camera streaming...
Hello Spell. Please forgive us for the late response. The whole team is working on 1.12.0 update thus this small delay.
This is a very strange and rare situation you have described. If you are willing to try again than please connect once using P2P and next using Connect Anywhere cloud...
If the operator is not blocking P2P (which I'm not 100% sure as P2P might work in one location and not in another depending on mobile network BTS configuration) then the problem might be on the home router (it may have an internal firewall). In that case please try to access the routers menu...
You could try setting an inbound port on the Remotly PC server and if you have access to your router configuration port forward this port number to the IP of the PC (local network IP like 192.168...). If your LTE operator is not blocking P2P connections this should help.
Hi Patryk,
Please let us know if you connect in a local network (for example home) or from outside (to someone else)?
Usually direct connection should work even using LTE connection but this depends if the cell network BTS allows it or not. So it might work in one place and not in another.
Sorry for the delay but are still working on this big update. With 1.12.0 we are ditching AES-128-CBC and are switching to AES-256-CBC for all plans. Backward compatibility should work so connection to pre-v1.12.0 servers will be supported (as well connecting from old clients to new AES-256-CBC...
Hi vamp,
The team is working on it. But the solution will be rather advanced. There will be a dropdown list where you will be able to select which network interface should be used by the client during connection. We think this will be the most robust solution even if someone will have 4 network...
We must first detect that the server is in the same network as the client and then make sure the management server assigns the same global IP to both devices (not like now when this problem occurs - they are different).
My team has one more question. Can you somehow run arp -a on the mobile (with VPN enabled) and let us know if you see the local network IP of the PC where Remotly server(s) is(are) running. If it's there then we will use arp IPs from the same local network to perform handshakes with all Remotly...
Hi Everyone,
Many thanks to our user vamp who has found an awesome solution for making remote PC's GPU work at full speed (not switching to a software display) after turning off remote monitor physically. Please find a step by step tutorial below:
1. Connect one of the remote PC monitors using...
