[BUG] Issues Right-Clicking Icons in the System Tray

Description
When right clicking on icons in the system tray, the remote session stops accepting any input from the keyboard or mouse. The system continues to function, and the display updates normally, but no remote kb/mouse input is accepted. This doesn't seem to happen on all icons, but the Nvidia Settings icon is notoriously problematic.

Physically accessing the system reveals no input issues, and the issue only persists in the remote session. Remotely sending Ctrl+Alt+Del and hitting cancel makes the system responsive again.

Steps to Reproduce
Establish a remote connection
1. Right click icons in the expanded system tray. If the Nvidia Settings icon is available, see if that one is also problematic.
2. Try clicking a right-click context menu and see if the system remains responsive.

Workarounds
Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del from the Remotly Control Panel, then hit cancel. System is responsive again.

Application Version: 1.38.0.0 Ultimate Home.

Application Settings: Hardjware acceleration: Nvidia NVEnc HEVC HDR10 | Remotly Virtual Displays: Disabled | Output Bitrate: 100Mbps | Network Settings: All Default | Security: Clipboard on, device auth yes | Launches and hosting as administrator

Connection Type: P2P

Environment:
Windows 11 Pro 25H2 26200.7921
Ryzen 9 9950x3D | Asus X870E-e | 64GB DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090

Hi Fishwalker,

This is a known problem. It looks like it only happens with Nvidia Settings which is very strange. All remote input stops working when this Nvidia Settings tray context menu appears. Even remote touch screen events and remote pen/stylus device events (which are handled in a different way than mouse and keyboard) are blocked.

We are still investigating it, but for now Ctrl + Alt + Del seems to be the only working workaround.

BTW. In one of the next updates we will add virtual mouse and virtual keyboard drivers which will resolve problems like the one described above.

UPDATE: Remote control with stylus/pen device works. The Nvidia Settings tray menu can be clicked or closed this way.
