Remotly PC v1.34.0 - the biggest update this year comes next week!

Hi Everyone,

Please make sure to check next week for the biggest update this year! It will include Multi-Join feature, which allows connection of up to 4 remote users to one host PC (for a total of 5 users gaming/working together with voice and text chat). Each user can connect using P2P (if possible) or Connect Anywhere (using one of our public relay servers, or a private relay server). You will be able to create multi-join connections either using Connection ID codes or invitations.

This update will also include many other fixes and improvements like:
- Fixed touchpad scrolling
- Improved remote reboot and remote disconnection from admin panel
- Support for remote connection to 3 remote display monitors at the same time (using 3 clients simultaneously)
- Improvements in file transfer
- Fixed remote webcam/camera access
- Fixed remote connection to a host which has screen saver running

We have just uploaded the latest Remotly PC 1.34.0 as a pre-release:

It's still being tested internally but the quality is good enough to make it public as a pre-release.
This update also requires Remotly API server update which will be done on Monday.
It is currently not possible (without API server update) to multi-join a host using invitations.
But it is possible to multi-join a host using Connection ID or using one account logged on multiple PCs.

The main difference that you will see after connecting to a Multi-Join enabled host is this:

When there is someone connected to a host you will see the number of users already connected.
If this count reaches (4/4), no more connections will be possible as all slots are used.

To enable Multi-Join function for a host running the latest 1.34.0 version please make sure to check Settings->General:

By default Multi-Join feature is disabled.

In this new update you can also enable more virtual monitors and set which GPU should render to each of them (by using Settings->Video):

After connection of more then one user to a remote host all users can communicate using the built-in voice chat.

Other changes in this update include:

- Fixed touchpad scrolling (some touch pads reported a small number of steps which was truncated to zero)
- Improved remote reboot and remote disconnection from admin panel (requires API server update and will start to work on Monday)
- Support for remote connection to 3 remote display monitors at the same time (using 3 clients simultaneously). By default one instance of Remotly is allowed (you can change this in Settings->General)
- Improvements in file transfer (removed custom file transfer window, system dialog is used for both drag and drop and copy from context menu)
- Fixed remote webcam/camera access
- Fixed remote connection to a host which has screen saver running (Ctrl-Alt-Del is no longer needed, moving mouse or clicking exits screen saver after connection)
- Support for remote gamepads in Multi-Join mode (up to 4 gamepads can be used in all possible configuration like 2+2, 1+1+1+1 etc.)

To send files to a specific user connected to a Multi-Join session please use the system context menu "Send To".
Clipboard is shared by host to all connected users (but clipboard from any connected users is only shared to host).

Please report any issues you find in this pre-release to us ASAP.

UPDATE:
The installer has been overwritten by a newer version that fixes the following issues:
- Fixed aspect ratio of video from multiple displays streamed in one video (like 3840x1080 etc.)
