After disabling this option all incoming connections to host/server using Connection ID code are rejected and will not even reach this machine.

BTW. The default hotkey to exit game mode is CTRL+M (can be changed in Settings->Hotkeys section).

16,53 mbps is very very high for outside connections using P2P. Can you try lowering it to 6Mbps connect again using P2P/Direct and let us know if this improves signal quality.
Please note that after connecting using Connect Anywhere the maximum bitrate using public Remotly servers is 10Mbps.

Please login to your admin panel and in the "my devices" tab find this PC and check if there is a red "disconnect" button present. If yes, please press it.
Please let me know if you see this button.
Changing password will not help as this logs out all devices and it would probably make this PC "offline".
Do you have auto Windows updates enabled? They restart the PC and this would help in this situation.
