Update is now available for download:
https://remotly.com/download
Please note that it shows 1.12.0 in the about dialog window but this is a minor bug we have found after building this release.
Please let us know if you can now control the PC remotely when Lineage2M is running.
Please make sure to use the new version that will be uploaded later today as we have found and fixed some critical problems (with black screen in other situations).
Hi again,
ATI Radeon 3000 does not fully support Direct3D 11. The new client introduced in 1.12.0 uses NV12 textures and they are not supported on this GPU in your PC. That is why using 1.11.4 works (the old Direct3D 9 base client is fully compatible with this GPU).
We will try to make some...
Hi Anton,
Thank you for the log. Is the ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics the only GPU in this PC?
I understand that you see the UI controls on the caption bar of the client window (only video is black)?
Ok, so now we are sure it's a problem with the new client app (after switching to D3D11 for rendering and decoding).
It would be awesome if you could do one more test:
- Install 1.12.0 on the problematic PC and connect to laptop (1.12.0) but with the video encoding acceleration set to Disabled...
Hi Nikku,
We will check this today. Please make sure to close Lineage2M during update installation (remotly_x64.dll cannot be replaced/overwritten when it is used by another process).
Hi vamp,
I don't think it's this problem since rolling back to 1.11.4 helped Anton. Also Anton mentioned that he can connect to this PC (laptop) using Remotly on mobile device. This problem is with the client after we have moved to D3D11 video decoding (D3D11VA). We had to make this change as...
We have discussed this problem and it seems not to be related with the laptop to which you are connecting but with the PC where the video is decoded.
Please do the following:
On the laptop (server) in Settings->Video please check what hardware acceleration is selected for encoding. If you see...
Hi Anton,
Thank you for reporting this problem. If you are using the installer please close Remotly and open the installation folder. From there please double click Remotly.exe. This will run Remotly without admin rights (if it was installed with admin rights in Program Files folder). Next...
We have found some missing phrases just before the update and decided to use google translate to not leave them in english :/
We will be very grateful for your help in fixing them 😉
Dear All,
This massive (and delayed) update will include:

- End-to-End HDR connection between PCs
- Improved P2P (UDP) connections
- New advanced admin panel with monthly connection reports, multiple...
Hi vamp,
Sorry for this update taking so long but it is huge and we need to make sure everything will work fine. We have verified all translations (old and new) and we are missing some sentences (I have posted them below). We would be very grateful for your help in translating them...
Thank you for this great idea with the link sharing. This may involve more work but it would allow users managing their custom layouts from the admin panel.
"I used few days your Android App. And I have a lot of bugs and "bad things". But it is better then another apps i found. I have a lot of...
Hello DoubleTapInside and thank you for this very important question!
Unfortunately sharing virtual Android (and soon iOS) layouts is currently only possible with your own account between different devices. BUT we are already working on this so it will be possible to share your layouts with...
Running with admin should also work. But we will check it and let you know asap. Installing with admin rights uses the program files folder. Installing without admin rights uses the users local folder. There are limitations from the system when apps are not running from program files even when...
