Thanks for reporting it. We will check it asap.I was trying to add screenshot, but I only get "Oops! We ran into some problems" error.
By desktop mode you mean by connecting to a PC computer or using desktop client? I'm using Android client.Yes, this should not happen in Desktop mode. Will be fixed soon.
JPG screenshot file. Maybe the auto generated very long name is the issue? Can you let us know what was the format of the screenshot uploading did not work for (jpeg, png etc.)?
Just checked it and the max size was 1MB. It was increased to 2MB (cannot be more in forum setup).JPG screenshot file. Maybe the auto generated very long name is the issue?
Size is not the issue. Yes it was 1,4MB but I still can't add it after increased file size. Also the long name was not the issue. I have uploaded the file to my discord server and saved it. The saved file can be now uploaded. No idea what the reason is.Just checked it and the max size was 1MB. It was increased to 2MB (cannot be more in forum setup).
I can see the remote computer cursor hovering near the tip of the big one when I move it around. IMO it would be sufficient to just have the remote one. In case of the local one if it always is the same size regardless the zoom level, it's enough. Thanks.Mouse cursor is scaled along with the video. We will try to detach it from scaling.
I will check all those settings when I'm back home. I'm almost sure that I'm using Remotly with admin permissions. Not sure about other stuff. 1 is very probably because this device is using 1060 with 4GB VRAM (if I remember correctly), so it may be not powerful enough. It's sufficient to be my media PC though. You shoud never see the remote cursor in desktop mode. It is only shown in game mode. Local cursor is better as it introduces a "lag free" feeling for normal desktop activities (not gaming).
There are situations when the cursor is included in the streamed video in desktop mode:
1. Host pc renders the video in software mode and not using hardware mouse overlay (very rare).
2. You are using Remotly virtual display driver and for some reason system adds this cursor to virtual display image (also rare and not normal situation)
3. You are running Remotly without admin rights and WINRT mode is used for capturing and the option to hide the cursor does not work (also not normal)
I have had many problems with this computer remote access since I've started to use the VPN. I have decided to take that variable out of the picture and requested a full refund. Maybe after I remove the VPN app everything goes back to the way it was before.1060 with 4GB VRAM is a good machine, for sure supporting hardware mouse cursor overlay. Even very old computers do support this. But maybe there is something special with this computer.
