I've noticed that when VPN is not connected the PIA Tunneling doesn't show on the network adapters list. After login to Windows the PIA app auto starts and auto connects. The PIA Tunneling is available on the Remotly network adapters list then. When I close the VPN app it's gone.
Hello.
Can we please get rid of the gigantic mouse cursor on the Android app? When I zoom in for precision clicking or selecting it covers entirety of the thing that I want to be precise with.
My suggestion? Instead of auto detectable network list I would go with priority list where you can see the history of all detectable networks and set them by connection priority. So if PIA VPN Tunneling is not detectable at the current moment, it will go to the second network, BUT if the PIA VPN...
It is happening again. Remotly is resetting the network settings to the default one on itself and I am unable to connect to the computer after the VPN connection is established. This time I'm getting Error Code 0. But I can access the computer on the login screen and log into Windows until the...
Hi. Just wanted to let you know that I have solved the problem. The issue was that my display is HDR compatible, but it wasn't turned on in Windows. I had to turn HDR on in Windows settings. Now the picture in Remotly is brighter and I can see stuff. I have no idea why it was so dark before.
This is already at max brightness.
I just don't understand why one of the remote computers is so dark regardless of having the same settings.
Any ETA on that slider?
Hello.
I was wondering if there is a way to adjust brightness on the Android app?
For some reason one of my remote computers shows a very dark image and during day time I have a hard time to see anything on there.
My other computers (normal):
My dark computer:
All computers (3) use Windows...
Auto updater is in development and will be available in the admin panel "on demand". It will allow to select a specific version which should run on each remote device separately (or for all remote devices at once).
Remotly works perfectly now. I can connect quickly and without issues with the remote computer from both my mobile and laptop.
Additionally, the performance has improved. This must have been the issue. I appreciate your help.
Just checked. One of them was defaulting to the regular connection (so via VPN?), and the other one had PIA Tunnelling as the default connection.
Both worked fine. I don't know anymore. I've set all to PIA Tunnelling. Testing tomorrow at work. It's late here already.
I do have PIA Tunnelling. My setting is default.
I will change to PIA and let you know tomorrow if anything has changed.
I am curious why the default setting works on my other two computers without issues, but not here.
In Windows 11 I have no such thing as Settings > General> Network Interfaces, BUT I have made a screenshot of all network devices on the computer in question. It is connected with an Ethernet cable to my home PoE network and then to the router.
I can see both, but after login to desktop my PIA VPN starts connecting and this is when I lose the picture and everything goes black. It should not interfere because it's set to connect via tunneling.
When I get back home I will try to completely remove the client and reinstall it. Maybe this...
Tried enforcing compatibility mode with and without the Connect Anywhere feature. No difference. Still black screen and no access to the remote computer. It only works on the lock screen.
